WORKSHOP ON ENERGY CONSERVATION BY PCRA

Mr.S.K Sinha is Joint Director (BH-JH), Petroleum Conservation &Research Association (PCRA). Prof.A.K.Pathak, Head of the department, Petroleum engineering, Prof S.Laik, Dean of student welfare, senior faculty of the department and many other dignitaries were present for the workshop. The workshop began with the lamp lighting ceremony and with an introductory speech by Prof. A. K. Pathak. The students showed great response to the event with around 180 students turning up for the workshop.
The workshop was divided into 3 sessions. Firstly, a presentation was given by the speaker. As the speaker was quite interactive, the entire session was refreshing not only for the students, but for the faculty present as well. Secondly, a documentary was shown on global warming by PCRA. It was really an inspiring and realistic documentary which was followed by question answer session.
There was an excellent feedback from the students about the workshop as it was informative, interactive and useful .The event ended with the memento presentation to the chief guest by Dr. A.K. Pathak.
